I've been trying to install Mac OS X on my computer. But now when I try to get back to my Windows 7 partition it gives me "Reboot And Select Proper Boot Device". But when I boot my PC with the iBoot CD, then choose my Windows Partition it boots up.

In the process of trying to install Mac OS X I have installed an extra hard drive (which is now removed), and I have created a partition on my main hard drive. I have updated my BIOS. Has anyone else had this problem or know what to do?

Thanks.

i have the same problem :
"reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key"

I had the same problem trying to load Lion on my SSD after installation. I forgot I had to remove the old kernel and copy over the new one. This is because I have an Ivy Bridge install.

Step 9 here will fix it.
