Here is a full pic of my iHack - Note the Carbon Fiber Apple Logo on the bottom guard:)

Here's a close up screen shot of the Apple logo. Nice touch.

Went all out on this build. Why not go with a 6900 XT instead of the older 5700 XT ?
Was it due to budget restraints or you just wanted to use a card you already had ?

left over stock 5700xt previous build-
got the Logo from ebay - lol

Any of the major brands will work. Gigabyte, Asus, XFX or MSI would be the top four picks. Don't get the 6950XT as there are some special tweaks needed to make it work. It's not OOB supported. Make sure to use the boot flag agdpmod=pikera with a 6900XT to avoid the black screen problem. The 6800XT versions are almost as good, you can save a few bucks going with that too.

This Asus 6800XT looks to be really well built too. Tuf series just like your mobo.

Make sure to select Amazon as the seller over 3rd parties.

Here's how Versus ranks the 6800XT compared to the 6900XT. Not much difference in the areas that matter most.

Once you've finalized everything, post a User Build with a list of all the hardware components. This is a build you can really be proud of. Making it into a hackintosh makes it even better.

Looks like the right candidate to replace my beloved z390 rig..

You don't have/use Thunderbolt? Ethernet works OK?
