I seem to have better luck when creating new installers for each build, 22A5311f up and running!.

I started this build after learning about an BIOS update last November, (officially released April 22), that allowed new Ryzen 5000 series processors to work on 320 chipsets. I was curious to know how a Hackintosh would handle that combination and started researching hardware. I started with a Ryzen 7 1700X, an 8 core, 16 thread monster from the Kaby Lake era then updated to the 5700X soon after release. I think the 320 chipset is quite capable and has shown to be better in some areas than more newer chipsets.

@craighazan that is a fairly low Metal score for an RX580. Is it a 4GB card?

My Sapphire Pulse RX580 8GB card Metal score earlier this evening was 50581 & just now 52520.

The average for my RX580's is between 50K-54K which is significantly higher than the score you posted above.
I have two builds with Saphire Rx580 8GB. One on an old system with a 3770Cpu :eek: and other on a new build with an Aorus Rx580 8GB and both score about the same 50.000´s

Hmm... thanks for sharing. Below I've linked to my previous Ryzen build, Gigabyte B550 paired with a 3600X. I posted a metal GB5 bench, which I did after installation of Monterey. The first result I got was 46K, but it never got that high again when benching after. I'm not upset about it, just curious to why some people are able to score 50K and others around 37K, it's quite a gap!.

Yes I´m curious too... I´m not and expert, but do you think it might have anything to do with Hardware acceleration achieved only with IGpu on supported Cpus? ... wait... but any way I don´t think my old 3770 i7 is Hardware Acceleration compatible either... its weird. For me The SMBIOS designation affected the result/performance of the GPU as well...

I'm going to see what this does, OpenCore 0.8.4 and look at my Resizable BAR settings.

@Edhawk I found the missing 15K from the Metal GB5 Bench, it was in SMBIOS iMac19,1. Single and multicore scores are similar to an earlier bench posted posted here for MacPro7,1 SMBIOS.

@craighazan
Excellent article!

My previous dGPU was RX 580 8GB and GeekBench 5 Metal scores always have been as those posted by @Edhawk, around 50000 - 55000. WhateverGreen, no boot-args, no code in config.plist for dGPU.

EDIT: posted before your last message. I remember also iMac19,1 but I'm pretty sure GB 5 scores were the same with MacPro7,1 or iMacPro1,1.
