Big Sur native usb3.0 pcie cards - are there any?

I have installed it in an old AMD Hack, into a spare PCIe 2.0 x16 slot.

This card works out of the box in Big Sur.
Thanks for testing this out for the community. Many people that need more USB ports can now spend a small amount of money and get an OOB working USB adapter. Even with older AMD systems. My very old Fresco logic card doesn't always work reliably and I may just replace it with this. Don't have much for USB C peripherals to connect either but those are the future so I might as well get started.

I have tested the 2 x Type-A ports with a couple of pen drives and they work perfectly. Showing everywhere you would expect, except within the bottom USB window in Hackintool.

The two ports I tested had the appropriate speeds for the USB2, USB3.0 and USB3.2 Gen1 devices used, as can be seen in the two screenshots below.
Amazon has a card with the same port layout but the capacitors are in different places and the model # is different too. Maybe one of them (the cheaper one) is Fresco Logic and the other Asmedia ?

This one (UP5300) costs about 14 USD less. They don't even mention it anywhere on their official site. Is probably discontinued from production.

Here's the more expensive version, yet with the same USB Type-c and Type-a ports on the back. Looks exactly like the one you linked to on Amazon.co.uk.

The more expensive version says the model is: ULS-UP10053

Another important point. Yeeliya says that it won't work in a x1 slot so potential buyers should have at least a x4 slot open to install this.

7. Integrated ASM 3142 chip
(Please note that it is a PCI-E 4X card and does not support PCI-E 1X slot).

That is the model card I purchased.

Yes, it definitely requires an x4 or greater PCIe slot. The rear tab that fits in the slot is larger than an the x1 tab, so physically it won't fit in an x1 slot.

This is clearly shown in the photo below, which contains the new USB card and an old x1 USB card (low profile).

The rear/right hand tab on the new card is much larger than the corresponding tab on the old x1 card.

I've bought an Inateck 5-port USB3 card from Amazon(Fresco chipset) in 2021. Worked fine in Mojave, still works fine in Big Sur. Cheap.

How cheap?

Post a link to the card on Amazon, so others can find the same card.

Just incase anyone is interested in the old Inateck USB card link above, it is for model No. KT5001.

This old Inateck card is cheaper than the YEELIYA card, but it is also less able, as it doesn't provide any USB3.2 or Type-c ports.

The Inateck card is available and costs €26.99 in the Netherlands (£22.40 using today's exchange rates).

However, it is unavailable on Amazon in the UK, as it has been superseded by a newer card 'Inateck RedComets U23' linked below:

This new/comparible Inateck card is £10 more expensive than the YEELIYA USB3.2 card.
