MSI PRO Z690 A DDR4 + i7-12700K + AMD RX 580

Hello there i have the same Setup, but DDR5 and 6600. i got this fail.

Welcome to the forum. I think you should read my post one first. The EFI you're using doesn't make a ton of sense.

Along side that, you should start with the EFI attached. It has a random serial number on it so you'll need to come up with your own once you're in. Be sure not to login to iCloud until you've done that. Again, read post 1 over and over.

You'll need to read my USB section as well and edit accordingly. It seems overwhelming at first but take your time and try to have fun.

To edit this you'll need Open Core Configurator set to 0.8.0.

I too think the same thing but before making some mess I ask for guidance from those who are certainly more experienced than me.
What exactly should I change, move or delete?
I'm gonna leave it to the other windows pros because I'm uncertain. Standby...

i have a z490 system thats work all of them. i cant anymore, i tryd sooo much. please help for this z690 :(

Its different for each system, brand, combination, etc... You got this. I even gave you the EFI and a guide :)

I too have the same problem regarding MacOs-Win11 dualboot.
the 2 systems work perfectly but the initial choice is only possible via bios.
The choices of the bios correctly indicate 1st Opencore option, 2nd option the disk with MacOs and 2nd option Windows Boot Manager but, if I choose Windows in the initial screen of opencore, the pc freezes while Monteray opens correctly.
Even if I choose which Windows startup disk, in System Preferences, the pc freezes.
I enclose the 2 Efi files that appear after the mounting of the 2 disks: EFI-CT5-1A4 is that of Monteray (which has kindly posted NorthAmTransAm), the EFI-SAM-88F is that of Windows.
Are they normal or is there something wrong?
I specify that the 2 SSDs are the same as I had with MB MSI Z590 and before the dualboot worked perfectly.
Any suggestions?
i checked mostly website tech dual boot for 1 ssd only, for 2 SSD no much ppl ask & tech.

Perhaps this will be of use to you. I recommend studying @CaseySJ's guides as surely its been covered there at some point. Wish I could be of more help.

You need to read post one. Read it three times.

Then simply scroll up to post #161...I'm happy to help but you've gotta do at least that much.

Hello, if I use a 12900k do I have to make modifications or am I better off sticking with the 12700k? thank you!
