pls help, need a build for catalina, big sur or at least monterey

hey there! hope u guys are all doing well because of covid
i need some serious help: my pc went down a few days ago, nothing more to do with it so i was thinking to make a build capable of catalina or big sur or monterey.

could you please suggest a mb that has no problems installing these os? i mean audio, ethernet and usb 3.0 working?

i read the buyer's guide but when i look up for any of those mbs i see people have issues in getting to the installer or making things work.

almost forgot i already have: ddr4 ram, hdd, power supply, msi geforce gtx 670 (die name gk104 as referred in gpuzoo.com), core i3 10100.
will my gfx card work in any of those os?

I already had High sierra but my mb stopped working so i asked you for a new mb.

Last question: which motherboard would you suggest for a build according to the CPU i now have?

This post is later in that thread. Newer Catalina updates work. If it's GK104 it should work. GK106 cards like the 660 have problems.

Try a Dell 7020 or 9020 MT. You can buy a board for $20 to $25 and use a few adapters to make it work in any case that you choose. As long as it's mATX or bigger.
