Intel i7 8800k

As usual, followed all of the instructions and am getting this black screen after the code runs.

I updated some of the kexts with debug ones, BIOS settings have been cross referenced but I still keep on getting the same result.

I am trying to install Monterey and I just purchased the Radeon 6600 XT as it's a supported GPU with Monterey being the initial OS (https://dortania.github.io/GPU-Buyers-Guide/modern-gpus/amd-gpu.html). It's asking for Virtual SMC and WhateverGreen which are in there.

My EFI is attached.

OpenUsbKbDxe.efi at UEFI->Drivers[3] should NEVER be used together with UEFI->Input->KeySupport.
In fact unless you are doing a legacy install, you don't need OpenUsbKbDxe.efi anyway.

Kext order is important, Lilu.kext should be first.

You cannot need both of IntelMausi.kext and IntelSnowMausi.kext. One or the other but not both.
You should probably use IntelMausi.kext only.

thank you for your response.

I have deleted the OpenUsbDxe.efi, put the order of the Lilu to the very first spot and I also deleted the IntelSnowMausi kext.

Still getting the same result :(

Should I also disable the key support in UEFI -> Input -> Key Support or just let it be?

Attached updated EFI.

Please read and comply with the rules, in particular the one regarding profiles.
Link to profile - Just three items - Motherboard (or prebuilt system), Processor (CPU) and Graphics.

Let it be.

How is it connected to the monitor ?

Via HDMI coming out of my 6600XT

As a general rule DP works more readily.
If your card has multiple HDMI sockets then try a different one.
You could also try plugging the graphics card into a different motherboard slot (if available).

Which version of Monterey do you have ?
6600XT is only supported from macOS Monterey 12.1.

I’ll try all of those things.

Ive been told the middle slot is the best performing one, is that a myth? If I switch it over to another slot, should I reset the CMOS at that point?

12.1, I downloaded the most recent one from the Apps Store. I’m going to check again but I’m pretty sure it’s 12.1 (will let you know if it’s not). I produce music so I need Monterey to be able to run specific surround sound applications.

So tried DP but got nothing and checked the version as well.

Confirmed running 12.1 installer.

All HDMI ports and DP ports are giving me that same black screen.

This post from another thread may help.
