** Interim Update of OpenCore EFI for Gigabyte Z690 Aero G **
Please do not quote this guide in its entirety. Post a link instead.

Purpose:
This is an interim update to the OpenCore 0.7.6 EFI for Gigabyte Z690 Aero G that incorporates all of the changes necessary for using all P-cores, all E-cores, and all hyper-threads.

Caveat:
macOS does not recognize the difference between P-cores and E-cores. Tasks will be scheduled on both types of cores as if they were all the same type.

Your Tasks:
To use this EFI folder please make the following changes to config.plist.

Set ResizeAppleGpuBars to 0 if Resizable BAR Support is enabled in BIOS. System will boot to black screen if this is not set properly.

Copy PlatformInfo credentials:

By default, a 15-port USB port map is selected. If you're using a different port map, select it from the list.

To show proper CPU name in About this Mac, set the following string accordingly. By default it is set to 10-Core Intel i5-12600K.
Set CPU Name.png

Specify your GPU Name:
Dev Prop GPU 1.png

Specify your GPU name once more:

Updates:
  • 17-Dec-2021: Removed HS06 from SSDT-UIAC-Z690-AERO-G-INTEL.aml to limit total number of ports to 15.

@CaseySJ
thanks for hard work. Was planned to build my first hacktintosh based on z590 vision D, I already bought the M/B and Ram. Found this post and read all of comments, I changed my mind to go this path. Bought RX 6600 and 12700K in Micro Center today and bought Z690 Aero G on ebay. Might be able to get it work next week!
Thanks!

Good choice! Do note, however, that this board does not have on-board Thunderbolt. If Thunderbolt is needed, we recommend GC-Titan Ridge only at this time.

Wow....this is amazing. Now start overclocking .

Then we have Raptor Lake + DDR5. It will be interesting to see how high these benchmarks can get.

thanks. Got it.

@CaseySJ I'm trying to map usbs with your latest EFI folder.

Right now i'm getting insta-wake with the following message:
DarkWake from Normal Sleep [CDN] : due to XDCI CNVW RP09 RP05 RP08/ Using AC (Charge:0%) 46 secs
Can I Avoid a GPRW patch?

I made sure HS14 is available in the list of Hackintool before extracting the kext, but bluetooth doesn't work now:
~UPDATE~
Bluetooth does not work in Windows aswell, investigating.

Hackintool says nothing is attached to HS14?

Couple of suggestions:
  • In Hackintool, click the broom icon on the bottom of the USB section, followed by the refresh icon. Because System Information --> Bluetooth is showing a Bluetooth device, it's possible that Hackintool needs to refresh the USB list.
  • Also try (a) NVRAM Reset and/or (b) cold start.
