Gigabyte Z490 Vision D (Thunderbolt 3) + i5-10400 + AMD RX 580

Sorry to hear that, but glad you're getting a replacement board. I don't think I will update MCU for a very long time...
Tnanks casey, hope gigabyte release new stable bios soon

OK, I got it installed and running, everything seems to be running fine except the lan connections. I am still waiting for my fenvi t919 from China and do not have alternative here in my country except maybe tplink archer t9e (but it says atheros chip on the spec). So I am stuck with lan.
Glad to hear it's installed, but what was the solution for the hang you reported earlier?
Both lan ports kind of work, but the latency is between dropping packets randomly and 2seconds, sometimes working ok for 1-2mins in between. Speed is also much slower than what I have on the wan side. All other devices on the network work fine. Somebody else encountered this problem?
Both of my wired LAN ports are working perfectly:

Can you check your LAN cable, switch/router using other PC or laplop using the Ethernet cable of you PC? It's very strange if you have issues on two of you LAN ports.

re Liquidctl, I followed the instructions in the above mini-guide but it doesn't appear to be working on my motherboard, a Z390 Auros Master.
I also replaced the contents of the driver folder with your latest version on Github, to no avail.
Do you know if anyone has this working on other Z390 Auros boards?

liquidctl list returns nothing and
liquidctl --hid hid list returns WARNING: Ignoring --hid hid: deprecated option, API will be selected automatically

I have probably missed a crucial step, or two, along the way.

It was one of the BIOS settings. Not sure exactly which one, but when I reset it and went through the settings again carefully it fixed the problem.

Regarding the LAN problem. I tried different cables, removing everything from the network except the hackintosh, plugging it directly to the wan router (i have another ubiquity unifi switch, ap and router) but it did not help. What is also strange is if the hackintosh is plugged in to the switch, then my other computer on the network instantly starts loosing packets and having bad ping, and if I plug out the hackintosh, my other computer instantly drops back to solid pings.
Firmware for the 2.5gbps lan is the latest 1.45.

Thank you for following up on this important issue. I did not install the MCU firmware update because I saw the warnings.

I believe one should just quit all running applications in Windows. If RGB Fusion is running, we have to use Task Manager to manually kill the service. Just quitting the application is not enough. We can also uninstall RGB Fusion, reboot, then attempt to update MCU firmware.

@CaseySJ @Jno @sambear

I just tried updating the firmware with the new file. It's still not working. There's a button showing up "force update" but it's crashing with another error message. Good news is that the system is still booting ;-)

I have responded to the ticket and will keep you informed.

A quick question somehow in topic.
I have an Asus B460 board with a XHC USB 3.2 controller named 8086a3af
I tried having USB 3 work but with no success.
Tried creating the driver with hackintool but no luck, nor using USBInjectAll.

Are these new breed of motherboard supposed to have not working USB until some 3.2 driver is released?
Thanks.

Please have a look at this post from @smashdownbabylon after firmware was flashed. It discusses sample rates.

@CaseySJ thank you for the link. Tremendously informative.
I must declare, Thunderbolt firmware manipulation is imperative.

The Raspberry Pi process appears quite interesting.
Any suggested favored components prior to us acquiring the needed hardware?

Please replace all files in both the driver folder and its parent folder with those from here:

USB 3.x should work on these boards. Is BIOS set up correctly (XHC Handoff enabled)? Also feel free to post your USBMap and USB SSDT.
