Gigabyte Z390 M Gaming build with working NVRAM

I can confirm DRM works with shikigva=80 on iMac 19,1 on 10.15.3. This WEG argument tricks the DRM system to think it’s iMac Pro. Apple TV+ shows play for 5 seconds without this argument, and now I can watch the entire 1 hour episode.

I think that even with shikigva=80, Netflix and Amazon Prime Videos will not working Safari.

Yes, in my case shikigva=80 works with AppleTV but once you try to open Netflix in Safari, the whole mac os freezes.
Maybe WEG does better job with RX570 instead...

Yes, thanks! No more nvram.plist is being created.
BTW, there are some others rc scripts there, should I care about them? Just wondering to clean up garbage...

comparing to another standard macbook, only rc.common and rc.netboot are there.

Yes. Only keep rc.common and rc.netboot.

i follow your guide------"
Unlocked MSR
add SSDT-PMC.aml in oc/acpi
but i verify whether nvram is working by command like blow ,it shows nvram doesn't work , do you have any idea why?
sudo -s
sudo nvram -c
sudo nvram myvar=test
exit
nvram -p | grep -i myvar

thanks for the help with the sleep HDR Bug. Its working with the Disabled HDR switching Option.
So far I don't have freezes after Sleep, will test more.
But I wanted to switch to iMac19,1 for the Sidecar function to work. But I discovered a new Problem with Switching to iMac19,1. I can't get the VDA Decoder to work. I'm unable to use the Intel iGPU 630 in headless mode, Any idea what I can do to get it working?

What do you see when you enter "nvram -p" in to Terminal?

Try muting your speaker volume then restarting. If NVRAM is working, your volume will still be mute after restart.

You must enable IGPU in BIOS if you use iMac19,1.

How do you know IGPU is not enabled?

Besides the RX570, your setup is similar to mine, so, I'd suggest (I'm assuming you're using clover):
  1. Check your BIOS settings - see picture of my settings
  2. Update/add Lilu and Whatevergreen (WEG) in your clover/kext folder in EFI
  3. check/add WEG patches in your clover config.plist - see picture
    1. Change/Rename GFX0 to IGPU
    2. Change/Rename PEG0 to GFX0
    3. Change/Rename HECI to IMEI
  4. restart (that should be enough)
  5. check VDA in hackintool - see picture
  6. check H264 / HEVC in VideoProc (free download) - see picture
IMPORTANT: do not connect any monitor in the motherboard display ports.

Steps above are taking from this great guide - consult it in case you're still having issues.

Thanks its working fine now, Hardware Acceleration is working also in VideoProc :)
Now Sidecar is working, but only via Cable. Wireless it doesn't find my iPad. I don't think this has something to to with Clover or Opencore but maybe you have an idea why its not working :)

Edit: I checked and I don't have Bluetooth on Mac OS, therefore its not working.
But Wifi is working, its the same Card. BCM94360CS2

Bluetooth is working on Windows.

What can I do to get Bluetooth Working again ?

Create Your USB Installer And Install macOS

Hi. Thank you for your work. If I already have working Hackintosh on z390m gaming, but want to use your build, should I reinstall macOS or simply replace EFI folder?

I don't know of any hackintosh that has wireless Sidecar working reliably. I don't know why and I don't know of a fix/workaround.
