Hey there,

I have a near perfect Hackintosh on the Ideapad 330s 15IKB. I want to update it to Catalina. Apparently since it's a fully functional Hack, the update should be straight forward like on a mac. But sadly it isn't. I got the following error on installation of Catalina. Please find attached my EFI folder as well.

I am trying to do a direct update btw from the appstore. I am already on APFS. I am currently using configplistbackup in the clover folder. Ignore configplist. I was messing around with that one.

Hey Valanov thanks man. It worked. However my trackpad and bluetooth wasn't working. So I reinstalled catalina fresh. Now here is the problem. In order to fix bluetooth i removed bcrmram2 kext and replaced it with bcram3kext and bluetooth inject like mentioned on the forum. The laptop had non stop KP after that. So i decided to boot in safe mode which KP'd as well. But after that it booted fine and surprisingly everything was working. I am able to reproduce the problem. If i restart the PC and try to boot normally through clover I have a KP. It reboots and I boot with - x flag which KPs as well. The third boot lets me get in with everything working!! I don't know what the hell is going on but I was hoping if there is a way I can avoid all this lol. I don't know whats causing it though. :(

Can you help?

Edit: I don't have a picture of the KP because the computer restarts right after the +++++++++++++
I have all my kexts in the Clover folder btw.

i wouldn't use that software as it can cause issues

try xcode or plisteditpro

you probably only need to have these enabled:

Hey there. I removed the other fixes I had enabled and restarted. I had a KP on restart but it booted on the second try. This is the error report I get from the OS. I don't have a picture of the KP cuz it's very fast.

you can see from your output: as.acidanthera.voodoo.driver.PS2Controller(2.1) is causing you some issues

You think I should revert to an older version of the kext? I think that's the latest kext as per kext updater. Would my keyboard work without out it? lol sorry for noob questions.
