The everything works Asus Z390-I Gaming * i7-8700K * SAPPHIRE NITRO+ Radeon RX Vega 64 Build

It looks like you need to replace BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext with BrcmFirmwareData.kext in /others.

Once you rebooted check BlueTooth. If it doesn’t work Rehabman suggests:

Verify the firmware is updated by going to System Information and check the Bluetooth firmware version number under the Bluetooth information panel.

If the version number is "4096", this means no firmware was updated for your device and it will not work properly.”

Okay. Just tried placing both only into /L/E, as well as only into Others, no luck.

My System Information -> Bluetooth tab only displays the text "No information found."

I am using a custom SSDT written by @DDMac for this board and it works perfectly. I also rechecked all the mappings and they were spot on. The moment I put it in the USB speeds came back to normal. I was thinking of modifying it so that the USB-C is 3.1 but haven't done that yet.

It looks like all the problems have been sorted by making changing audio layout from 1 to 2. I am updating the EFIs now.

Edit: EFIs updated

Will give the New EFI a go this evening.
Still had to use @pastrychef 's plist file on your new EFI though.
Have to test it out though.
It seems that He's plist gets my Audio a little closer to better working and it turns on my iGPU.

Have not tested USB-C though :( No device for that.
Also a quick mention. Not the USB 3 ports in the front IO or the back, seem to see my OnePlus 5 :(

Please test your video with IINA to see if there's screen tearing.

Please test your PC speakers to see if it has the volume issue.

Thank you @pastrychef for your consistent patience.
I briefly tested IINA player yesterday. And it seemed to do better with the tearing issue. Have to do more extensive testing though.

Will also test Audio some more when I get Home from Work.

Will have to help tomorrow, need to sleep.

I honestly think it might be hardware related at this point--I might have a bad DW1560 chip.

I took everything apart and reseated the chip, and upon boot into macOS, Bluetooth was showing in the menu bar as enabled. I tried to pair some of my wireless Apple devices (Magic Keyboard 2, Magic Mouse 2) and the Bluetooth menu just hung... and about a minute later Bluetooth turned off and showed as disabled once again. Tried rebooting and reseating the card a few more times and cannot get Bluetooth to show up enabled again.

The only way I can rule out a hardware issue is to try another card, so I've ordered another DW1560. It's going to take a while to get here from China, I guess I'll update after that. Unless anyone has any other wild ideas!

Having it show up but not be able to connect is normal when you have a bad config, that’s what happened to me.

The fact that it disappears and doesn’t work in Windows does not bode well. I agree it is probably a hardware issue.

I bought mine used from a US seller, not from China. Not sure if that makes any kind of difference but there may be a firmware issue.

The reason I asked you to move the Kexts is that the version of 1 of the included ones cannot be injected and has to be replaced by another one that can be. If I understood correctly it’s the kext that updates the 1560s firmware to make it compatible.

Anywho..long explanation just to say that moving the 2 Kexts to library/extensions should have updated the cards firmware.

I will update the EFI later so others don’t have this issue. In the meantime, use the instructions I gave you yesterday to check the firmware version but this time look under wifi.

Not sure if there are separate firmwares for each but its worth a look.

I will be back at my computer in about an hour and will check mine so you can compare.

Cheers.

Sorry! Didn't get around to checking until now. I've had a look through System/Library/Extensions, and compared it to what's in the folder in my MacBook. I haven't seen anything that looks hackintosh related in there (but there were 301 files, so it's possible I may have just missed one). Will attach screenshots of the folder too.

I'll try your updated EFI, with the AudioID set to 2 and see if that does anything

You have a 9th gen CPU, so you should also spoof 8th gen IGPU.
