The everything works Asus Z390-I Gaming * i7-8700K * SAPPHIRE NITRO+ Radeon RX Vega 64 Build

What resolution are you running? We may need to increase VRAM by patching.

OK thanks! It's a native 4k monitor, it has HDMI, display port and mini display port, but it won't do 60hz over HDMI.

I am using the second from the left of the MacOS scaling settings to make it look like 1920x1080.

My vram is maxed out most of the time, sometimes it drops to around 50%, but never really goes below that. The 560 is the 4GB version.

Close to a solution and will post new EFI today but would like

For your monitor, did you select scaled in display and then 1920 X 1080?

Will work on issue this afternoon, I think my patches disabled the IGPU so will need to reverse what I did. I will also increase the IGPUs VRAM buffer to max 2048.

The IGPU is responsible for all screen redraws and preview. Did photo preview work before the latest EFI?

OK thanks, I've been using it today and no audio glitches so far, so maybe we are going in the right direction? The previews of images worked with the last EFI, the iGPU is still enabled in the BIOS. It's a shame we can't use the 560 for the previews! I'm also wondering about removing the 560 and seeing how it is when just using the iGPU.

Mine doesn't look like that, it's like this:

Also, whenever I set anything here, the actual settings apply, but the GUI part always reverts to default for display, even though the settings are still the scaled ones.

I may be completely off track here but it looks like you are running 4K resolution but you are just increasing text size, which could explain everything.

I am fixing buffer and will post shortly, then we can play with resolution.

It seems to scale everything, boxes, windows, icons, text, I'm not sure why yours is different to mine, but I have an iMac and that's the same as this. As far as I can see, there is no way to actually adjust the resolution? I don't think my monitor supports less than 4k either, but I may be wrong about that.

By the way, I'm using this setting of scaling because I was running it at the second from right and my eyesight has deteriorated quite a lot in recent months so this looked better :)

@Monkey303, @ModMike, That's how I adjust the scale on my 27" Dell U2715Q 4K monitor. Works like champ.
