Black Screen After Turning off Monitor w/ Vega 56

I have the installed. I ordered some stuff from Amazon so we will see how that goes. I hope someone also builds a KEXT for the 56 like they did the 64 for the fan speed issue.

There should be one in the thread that the fix was originally posted.

I have a Vega FE and don't have this fan issue.

I read that Mojave Beta 8 fixed the fan issues? They could be wrong, though.

I might have to give it a try. I am working on trying to get windows to work after upgrading to APFS. The Kexts everyone posted were for 64’s because they had the memory clocks at like 1050.

I had similar issues on my w7000, i had to enable csm on bios
 
Yes, i also have inject ati, load vbios and radeon deinit on my config.plist, usually it works oob
I think it might be the monitor doing something strange. I am going to try an Displayport to HDMI adapter.
 
I wonder if it has something to do with me using the iMac 17.1 profile. I also noticed that once I switched over to the Display port that the screen refresh rate changed to some very strange numbers. They are now showing 59.88 and 69.88 Hz.

hi. i have same situation. Vega 64 and imac18,3 system definition.
i can't enable my monitor after powering it off.
did you find a solution?
