High Sierra on H370 HD3 - NEW ISSUE :(

EDIT THIS PART SOLVED, KEEPING THREAD FOR OTHERS?

First off, I know very little about computing, but this is my second custom mac. I spent all day yesterday trying to follow the forums and solve it myself.

I get to the clover screen, but that's as far as it goes before it throws up the NO sign. (provided some grabs from verbose mode)

Appreciate the help, here's my hardware.
i7-8700, GB H370-HD3, onboard graphics

Some notes: obtained the full 5gb High Sierra OSX file using the osxdaily article, and then UNIBEAST to create the USB. (not sure if my problems start there.

load opitimized
secure boot: disabled
VT-d : disabled
Serial and parallel io = both disabled
XHCI Handoff: enabled
CFG-Lock: I disabled it (only 95 percent sure it was the right one)

"OS type: other OS" <--- couldn't find this one

Thoughts?

Follow the bios settings from this guide if you share this motherboard.
USB inject all and the USB generic ownership kexts

Also might go without saying that you should check the boxes in Clover's boot options for those kexts.

Finally got through to install screen.

I managed to install High Sierra on the drive, complete it, and then I reboot. It loads the USB, I select the new drive. It even opened up an Apple Grey background, and install bar on the reboot. Then it failed.

verbose mode gave me some generic "Kernel error" when I tried it again.

I feel like I'm missing something very simple. Should I be starting over from the install every time?

It seems I might have to venture away from Unibeast and into clover territory? Pardon my naivete.

can upload EFI folder？

Here it is. I'm afraid I don't know what I'm doing to really be of help. I'm learning as I go.

I would use clover, way better, not involved but pays the price
