If I got the one with GDDR5, how do I install the kext and to which location?

Why do you need to install the kext if you have GDDR5?
You only might need the Nvidia drivers if your GTX 760 with GDDR5 memory. You'll know it as your resolution is horrible.

Why do you need the extra graphics kexts?

I got the card with the GDDR5.

I also tested geekbench and without the nvidia drivers, my score for openCL = 0.
BTW how come cuda-z does not detect my nvidia card?

Are you asking how to install the Nvidia drivers? If so, the latest version for each of the macOS is in the Download > Nvidia Drivers menu at the top right of this page. Download the installer, it will install the drivers to correct location.

BTW, this is not a help thread. Please post any more questions in a new thread. TIA.

No, I already installed the nvidia drivers by following the first page.

I mean how to install the extra kext NvidiaGraphicsFixup 1.2.7 and to which location,
I got the card with GDDR5

You will also need to use Luli kext with the NvidiaGraphicsFixup. Both have to be installed with KextBeast into the /Library/Extensions/ folder (a choice when running KextBeast.

Put both kexts on your Desktop, making sure they are the only kexts on the desktop. Run KextBeast selecting the /Library/Extensions/ folder. Reboot.

Thanks.

Yeah I got the KextBeast installed prior to this...
I just didn't know which location to install it to since kextbeast gives you two locations.

/Library/Extensions/
/System/Library/Extensions/

What is the difference between the two locations?

After installing the nvidia drivers,
do you know why cuda-z still does not detect my nvidia card?

I also notice prior to the nvidia drivers, my geekbench gpu score for openCL was 0,
but after installing, I got a proper score..
So the nvidia drivers does give a performance boost.

Yeah I got the KextBeat installed prior to this...

The former is for 3rd party kexts. The latter is for Apple macOS kexts, etc.

Don't know as I don't use Cuda-Z.

Please open a new post/thread in the Graphics forum section (this one) as this thread isn't a help thread. TIA.

After 107, I went deleting Lilu and NvidiaGraphicsFixup and decided to cleanup my kexts. I started disabling on boot via clover to see which ones I really don't need. I finally moved all to a CLOVER/kexts/Bak folder - so if I need them again - and left only 2 in CLOVER/kexts/Other. (/10.13 is empty): IntelMausiEthernet.kext and mXHCD.kext.

I've been working like that for ~2 weeks now. After reading some posts above, I decided to put those two in /Library/Extensions.
So, I searched and:
1. I don't have a /Library/Extensions folder....
2. In System/Library/Extension there are no other hackintosh kexts and no FakeSMC.kext !!
So, I only load the above 2...??
Is this normal? Am I missing something? Am i working with caches....?
Could this be why my safari is acting strange?

EDIT: OK, please delete this one. After 2 years, I am still a nooooooob. really sorry for that
