HP Elitebook 1040 g3 i7 boot problem

Sorry, @RehabMan. It took me some time to figure out how. Anyway, here is the attached clover.zip

Follow the Clover guide linked from the FAQ.
http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.html

Although you should read the FAQ for an overview of issues, the Clover guide is linked from the first question: "Q. Where do I start?", just after the bold face "Clover Guide".
Here is a direct link, just to be clear:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/

Also, your profile must be filled out with complete details as requested in the FAQ, again under "Q. Where do I start?". All seven details requested are equally important.

And if you have an issue (after following the guide), or on any other problem, you must provide a detailed description of the problem including information that helps us understand what you're doing. Always attach "Problem Reporting" files as per FAQ.
http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.html
The required files and data are fully detailed in the last question in the FAQ:
"Q. What are typical "Problem Reporting" files?"

OK, thank you @feartech and @RehabMan for you guidance. I managed to install most of the things, but some I cannot figure out how. Attached you'll find all the files/outputs.

Here's what works:

- UEFI booting via Clover
- built-in keyboard (with special function keys)
- built-in trackpad (basic gestures)
- built-in camera
- AirPlay mirroring to AppleTV
- wired Ethernet
- Mac App Store working

not working:

- battery status in menu bar
- native audio with AppleHDA, including headphone
- built-in mic

And a big issue: I can boot only if the laptop is on the docking station. (I need the docking station because of the ethernet controller) When the laptop is on his own, on battery, it fails to boot, after the clover boot screen. Hope this time I have provided enough information. Thanks in advance for your help.

You did not follow the guide.

Yes, @RehabMan ,sorry, I took some shortcuts and replacements. Just to find out it didn't work.

Anyway, this time I followed the guide step by step, until the final two steps, where I'm confused. I stuck on "ACPI configuration". I don't know which install script to use for my laptop. I guess it's unsupported. After that, I guess I have to use "config_1040_G3_Skylake.plist".

There are some things that don't work though:

- battery status in menu bar (I guess Power managment)
- native audio with AppleHDA, including headphone
- built-in mic

WiFi - I have to replace the WiFi hardware.

I hope this time I did everything right, just have a lack of knowledge. Thank you.

You have no files in ACPI/patched.
Use install_acpi.sh as per guide:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...book-zbook-using-clover-uefi-hotpatch.232948/

Your config.plist is wrong. Read guide, "Final config.plist".

I read it, but which install scrip to use?

The closest I see, are:

install_1040g1_haswell
Install_1020g1_broadwell
install_1030g1_skylake

Mine should be
install_1040g3_skylake , but' there isn't such one.

Just added the missing script code to install_acpi.sh.
Note:
Code:
NUC6i7KYK:probook.git rehabman$ ./install_acpi.sh help | grep 1040
install_1040g1_haswell
install_1040g3_skylake

Maybe I'm missing it, but I don't see it:
