[Guide] Lenovo U310/U410 using Clover UEFI (10.11)

Hi Rehabman, i've noticed an annoying issue the battery icon. it disappears every time i start and boot into my laptop. i have to to into energy saving in system pref and check the 'show battery in menu bar'. Its not massive issue but a little annoying as i have to do every time startup. Is this an issue with the actual 10.13 OS itself?

The ACPIBatteryManager.kext you have installed is too old for High Sierra.
Install the latest.

Thank you, ill do that now. another thing i have noticed is when i tilt the actual laptap (not the the screen/lid) back the cursor goes a little crazy on screen, im guessing it maybe to do with the touch screen but not sure. its very weird, when i use it on my lap/legs it does this when i move. I've never had this problem with my previous OS version. Could it be a hardware issue?

Disable the touch screen, then test.

Rehabman, im having difficulty trying to understand this guide as it doesnt directly mention how to disable. I have looked into my SSDT and cannot see the USB devices as shown in post 1 of that guide to then attempt to disable the relevant drive. Could please help me with disabling the touchscreen's USB? Refer to post #202 if troubleshooting documents are required.

Simply exclude the port from your SSDT-UIAC.
