Gigabyte Z270X Ultra Gaming

Hello guys. At this moment i have a succesful build with a Gigabyte GA Z170N-WIFI and a i7 6700K.

The only thing i will change is the motherboard, i will stay with the same cpu.

Do you believe that i will be ok with the Gigabyte z270 ultra gaming and the 6700K?

If you don't mind I asking, why do you want to change the motherboard of a successful build?

To be sure, I have done some motherboard replacements in the past, from H67 to P67 / Z68 / B75 motherboards, and the various versions of MacOS I have installed on the hard disk all work fine (from Mountain Lion to El Capitan), apart from needing minor adjustments.

I believe such a replacement would probably work, but there is no guarantee it will, so I would recommend you make a clone of your current MacOS system before making such a major reconfiguration.

The reason is because i want more pci slots and furthermore it doesn't looks good with my case (Phanteks P400 tempered glass).

I have that board but with the 7700K processor instead.
I may switch it for the UD5 as I see that board in more profiles.
The only way the OS boots is if I leave the USB with UniBeast installed.
If I take it out, it hangs on the Apple logo midway. Also, I haven't figured out the audio yet.

I managed to boot from my hard drive, I have fully working graphic card (GTX 1060), ethernet its working too.

I have not sound but I believe that I will fix it and for some reason it dons't play anything from iTunes or Youtube or vlc.

I don't know the reason.

Hello guys, i need your help. So after a lot of work my system is stable with the i7 6700K, 16GB Crucial Balistic Sport and a GTX 1060 3GB.

ALC1220 is working. Graphic Card is working. Cpu is working fine. The problem i have is that dosen't recognize usb 3 devices.

I have install via multibeast "Increase max port limit 200 series and 3rd party usb" but i can see only the usb 2 devices.

Any thoughts?

You can get sound by using VoodoHDA 2.8.9.
Just a heads up. You won't have sound over HDMI as that needs a video codec. For me, it's fine as I have an Anker Bluetooth Speaker that works with the line-out (Green Rear) on the motherboard so I can shut my HDMI TV off and still listen to music through iTunes.

Can't do the entire folder but I can say that my kexts are only in the 10.12 folder and you should be able see any differences we have with the Geekbench score and config.plist.
