The laptop in your profile does not use the IGPU PWM registers for backlight control.
This guide does not apply to your laptop.
You need to use ACPIBacklight.kext (+ special U310 patches) and Brightness by bergdesign.

Hi @RehabMan, I have followed your guide and I am not able to store backlight. Please see attached file. I have followed your guide and not missed anything

Hi @RehabMan, i already got it working. Not sure why, i just manually edited nvram via terminal to set brightness and it sticked already on boot. After that change, anu brightness settings do stick on boot:headbang:

I deleted everything that is written in the post 1 and install ACPIBacklight.kext + patch graphics/graphics_PNLF-Lenovo-Ux10a.txt. When i open bergdisign brightness, process don't start. If open Brightness.app/Contents/MacOS/Brightness, it says:
2017-08-17 12:23:23.452 Brightness[1024:23043] Couldn't find ambient light sensor for keyboard backlight.
What am I doing wrong? Before 10.12.4 for brightness need only ACPIBacklight.kext.
