I've tried it with rehabman's 1600x900 HD4000 plist. It doesn't work for me.
If I use the plist from the repo it will display on LVDS.
Could you please share your EFI/CLOVER folder?

Just delete "disabled:" from AppleIntelFramebuffer patches in KextToPatch from config.plist.

Also note the patch posted is only #1 of 2.

You should read post #2 section on "disabled" patches. Seems like you're not reading very carefully.

As expected: it works perfect now. Thank you for pointing it out again.

I currently have a problem with getting sound to work.

I have checked with linux and it's at the irq 28. I've patched the DSTS with irq 28 (audio_HDEF-layout12.txt with value 28 from RehabMan's repo).

Also I've tried both of the following kexts:
AppleHDA-272.18.1-ALC269VC.zip
AppleHDA-272.18.1-ALC269VC_v2.zip

from the AppleHDA collection. What am i missing here?
If I go to system information it detects Intel High Definition Audio with Audio ID 28.

Thanks for the help.

I've attached my ioreg and dump from codec0 (created with linux) if that's helpful....

layout-id has nothing to do with IRQs. And furthermore, nothing to do with Linux.

The layout-id is an arbitrary choice on the part of the person who created the patched AppleHDA.

Read the ACPI patching guide (linked from the FAQ) to determine layout-id that your AppleHDA uses. Along with other patches required ("IRQ Fix").

By chance you would be able to help me set up my OSX install on my T530. I feel like I'm missing something major on how to do it.

yeah, sure! what problem do you currently run into?
try this guide:
http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...de-booting-os-x-installer-laptops-clover.html

I have ran into the problem that the installation wasn't possible to install without the patched dsdt's.
If you have access to a mac, export them with clover (f4 on boot) and patch them:
https://bitbucket.org/tpmac/t530-osx/src

Otherwise post your concrete question. Also you will run into problems with the wifi adapter (there is a whitelist in the bios and none of these adapters is compatible with osx). I have ordered a ch341 eeprom writer and i'll soon provide details on how to flash the bios.

Good luck!

Thanks RehabMan, obviously I was able to fix this again with your help. It's just hard to see that if you're new to this topic.

Afer using the hackintosh for a while i have run into two problems:
  • The Clover screen stays black (clover won't load) if i reboot or turn the computer on, even 30 seconds after it has been used. If i remove the charger and battery, and put them back in - clover will load without a problem. The computer will run without any problem after that.
  • I can't use the internal notebook speakers for audio. Audio works great with headphones and even the audio port on the dockingstation. But I will also get a little "crackle" if audio is quiet for about 10 seconds. It will also "crackle" if I resume playing something.

These bugs are kind of weird and I have tried a lot fixing them with f.e. different bios settings.

Thanks for help!

Strange one... but sounds like an ACPI/BIOS issue.

Which audio codec? Did you install CodecCommander?

Yow yow,

What would be the final wrap up for this model T530 Lenovo laptop in terms of HD4000 graphics.

I Got everything running quiet good. But got maybe a few questions left.

I run my T530 with 16 gig of ram.

Its quiet sufficient of what i want to get out of it. But i can only use it with an external screen, and he kind of "freezes" when resolution changes... This is obviously the driver.

What would be the main mac osx "driver" ext for intel HD 4000 to use, to make the internal screen work. Or at least have the possibility to switch resolutions. At the moment I can only run in 1680x1050 with 1536 MB graphical ram.

I should probably not be to eager to get the lower resolutions working, but who would i add those up to 800x600 to the ext file?
