Hi there

Sooooo—this is my first attempt at a hackintosh, and I have the Gigabyte Brix GB-BKi7A-7500.

I can't get this past the Apple logo, it just hangs there.

Followed all of the recommended steps (https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...ierra-on-any-supported-intel-based-pc.200564/) I think, except one—I don't have an option in the BIOS to select Other OS—could this be where the problem is? Do I need to update the BIOS?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks

@Batman., please update your profile (personal details) with your build (Motherboard or Model, CPU and Graphics Card).
The Rules said:
Profiles need to contain at least your primary system to assist others with helping you.

Boot your system in Verbose Mode and post a picture of your screen when it freezes/hangs.
At Clover Boot Screen press space bar and select Verbose (-v)

Thanks @BreBo
It doesn't get very far!

Add slide=0 kernel flag to the Boot Arguments in Clover's config.plist
Make sure that CsrActiveConfig is set to 0x67 not 0x03 in Clovers config.plist.

If that doesn't work, in addition to the above, try using OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi instead of OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi.

Hey
Got slightly further (screen image attached). I have searched on this topic but to be honest I'm struggling to find an answer. I'll apologise in advance for my ignorance.

Ok, think I've done that correctly (image attached) but I'm not quite there yet!
Here's what the verbose log gives me now (image attached).
Really grateful for your help!

FakeCPUID is entered correctly.
Can you try to switch back to OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi, now that you also use the FakeCPUID.

Ok! That's getting me to the install screen—thanks! Disk Utility is not finding the SSD though. It is showing up in the BIOS (in the NVMe). I will try and mount through the terminal (based on what I found on another thread). Thank you so much for your help so far!
