Hmmm... I really want to go RX 580 because it's cheaper and seems more efficient. If the Pascal cards aren't used to their full potential, then the extra money is a waste. But having to get a helper card is holding me back. Seems like it's so much easier to stay with Nvidia.

The drivers are there and the 12.5 version 3 beta added more Ellesmere entries. The ID is the same 0x67DF1002 so they should work as well or better than the 480s. I'm waiting for a XFX or Saphire model at my local parts stores before jumping in for testing. All they had was a few MSI models which may be troublesome to activate AMD get acceleration.
XFX, Saphire, Powercooler are the easy 480 models to get working with very basic fixes so if you see one of those models go with them for now.

So I purchased the Sapphire Radeon RX 580 Nitro+ Limited Edition 8 GB
I went ahead and followed your guide in the Enabling AMD RX 4XX cards in Sierra thread.
I edited the kexts in textedit and followed exact steps. replaced file did the kext wizard after each one. rebooted & now I get to clover screen, select my MAC HD and it doesn't boot in. screen goes dark.
Any suggestions how i can get it working? :(

Quick edit - I am running OS Sierra 10.12.5 Beta 3

Are you connected to the rx and seeing the start up clover screen? If so you need to set bios internal graphics settings to IGP, IGFX, or IGPU to primary display. You need integrated graphics mode to be set in bios. You should see the bios and clover screen with the CPU graphics and then after boot the RX connection becomes available. Display should be connected to motherboard graphics for start up and then switched to RX after boot. If you only use the RX card for graphics in dedicated mode it goes to black screen.

i7 2600 does it have HD 3000 graphics?

Yes I tried that and for some reason it won't work with IGPU

The i7 2600K has onboard graphics HD 3000.
Not sure what I'm doing wrong with this. Pretty tech savy. :/

Tried booting into my Windows 10 drive. Downloaded Macdrive to access my MAC HD Partition.
Replaced the original copies of the Kext into the folders before i messed with it.
And now it still won't boot in after clover selection :(
Did I ruin it?? :(

When you replaced the kexts did you use Kextwizzard before booting? If not if you still have the copies try replacing again using kext wizard after.

Yes I used Kext Wizard twice. One after each kext edit. And then rebooted.
Now my Mac OS won't boot after clover screen.
Also tried putting the old kexts back the originals from MacDrive on my windows hd to my mac hd.
and still won't boot.
