Hey! :) This tutorial fully worked, i've exactly same parts. But few days ago Mac OS Sierra was released. Do you guys know is this tutorial compatible with new Mac OS?

If you already have a working install of El Capitan, you can just upgrade to Sierra. No need to do a clean install again. But if you want to do a clean install then I assume this guide will work for Sierra as well. Not much has changed with how the OS is installed. Just update some of the kexts and you might have to update Clover on the USB installer as well.

n3oNLit3 just wanted to say thanks.

I literally decided on the specifics of my build directly around your guide. This blueprint of yours was so well documented and so well written that I knew as long as I stuck to your plans I'd be in good shape. Including sticking with on-board HD4600 (will add a card later, and it's running so well, that is now a "maybe"). It was a bit of an overkill for my needs, but does give me some upside for the future. And your guide is so well done I felt it wise to stick to in and I certainly was not disappointed.

As said, my components are identical to the build specs with the exception of a BIOS of F6 (which was preloaded). The BIOS difference ironically was a good thing because I have native PM without adding any SSDT (I think others mentioned this too).

Next up is adding some bluetooth, although it's not necessary for my needs.

Again, a really big thanks!

n3oNLit3,

A real novice here, thanks for the great guide you have here. i did everything like you shown, however right after i was done installing multibeast (iMac 14,1 definition) and clover Configurator and restarted i run into problems. my ethernet is gone. i check the system information and it says: “this computer does not appear to have any PCI ethernet cards installed".

The only thing a can think was i did my install with the ethernet cable plug in and use my apple id to create my log in information. I did notice i have a number of my files that save in my i cloud show up in my hackintosh when i boot for the first time so it shouldn't be a hardware problem. Should i just start with it unplug?

its past midnight and im tearing my hair out.
Thanks.

You did install the Ethernet driver from Multineast, correct? If internet was working while you were booted with the USB installer then it could mean the Ethernext kept file was present on the USB drive and now that you don't have the UuB plugged in, the driver is no longer on the hard drive.

Thanks for replying, what i finally did was to download the kexts file and replace in the library\extension\AtherosE2200Ethernet.
that seem to work.

now i notice that my video card in the system information is showing 0 mb ram and im wondering if its installed at all. i planning to pull out the card and re install nvidia web drivers and put it back in.
hope it works.

Having an issue with getting the system fully installed and 100% functional. After installing the GPU drivers for my GTX 950 the next boot will get to the desktop but either become unresponsive/freeze after the wallpaper is displayed or will let me move the mouse around the desktop, mess around with the task bar, but nothing much more than that. Finder doesn't load at all. Any suggestions?

Update: video memory in my system preference is still 0mb. So i went to clover and uncheck "inject Nvdia". After reboot it shows nvidia generic card 8mb.

Did i mess up somewhere?

I used this tutorial to get my Hackintosh up and running. It was stable for about 10 months, but just crashed and I can't get it it to boot.

I'm not sure, but I think the EFI partition got messed up when I tried to upgrade to Sierra.

Now if I boot in verbose mode it stalls on "Missing Bluetooth Controller" in either normal or safe mode. I also tried to boot from my USB install drive, and made a new one. Same errors.

Before the line about Bluetooth Controller there are about 9 or 10 lines of:
Sound assertion in AppleHDAConroller at line xxx
Sound assertion in IOHDACodecDevice at line xxx

Any thoughts?

Missing Bluetooth Controller indicates a Graphics Problem. At Clover Go to Options, Graphics, Make sure that (inject Intel) is checked then try booting.

Most likely you have (inject nvidia) in config which isn't needed.
