Hello!

I'm totally new in Hackintosh universe.
I'm trying to have osx on external Ssd.

Here is my issue :

I used unibeast with Clover 2.3 r3423 included.
I managed to install el capitan with usb bootloader on my external ssd, but am currently failing at booting mac os.

Using verbose mode, when loaching I get stuck with different problems.

I post the 2 screens I get (alternatively).

What should I do to be able to boot El Capitan at last...???

Thank you in advance

Ps : I already read all the guides with attention, and looked for similar problems everywhere I could, without finding any clue.

If you're trying to install to an external USB device, be aware of USB issues in 10.11+...

Pololol13, were you ever able to get yours working? I have same laptop I believe and I have not for the life of me been able to get the graphics to work properly. Been stuck with integrated graphics showing 7MB. I cannot use any of the ports(usb-c, mini-dp, hdmi) to hook up an external display either....trackpad is super wonky as well. Other than that - I was able to get sound, wifi(with netgear usb dongle) and booting okay. I have followed various guides from the forums, but this one has got me pulling my hair out. Wanted to see if you were able to overcome it?

Attach ioreg as ZIP: http://www.tonymacx86.com/audio/58368-guide-how-make-copy-ioreg.html. Please, use the IORegistryExplorer v2.1 attached to the post! DO NOT reply with an ioreg from any other version of IORegistryExplorer.app.

Provide output (in Terminal):
Code:
kextstat|grep -y acpiplat
kextstat|grep -y appleintelcpu
kextstat|grep -y applelpc
kextstat|grep -y applehda

Attach EFI/Clover folder as ZIP (press F4 at main Clover screen before collecting). Please eliminate 'themes' directory. Provide only EFI/Clover, not the entire EFI folder.

Attach output of (in Terminal):
Code:
sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions && sudo kextcache -u /

Compress all files as ZIP. Do not use external links. Attach all files using site attachments only.

I'm sorry, but I must say I gave up... I didn't manage to boot on mac os on an external ssd (via usb3)... too many complications I guess...ty for helping Rehabman, and sorry that I can't help other people to move forward!

Thank you Rehabman, and gonna go ahead and say sorry for anything I may have misunderstood/my ignorance and thank you for your patience and your guidance.

I had to redo my install - apparently at one point I tried some different settings and blew everything up.

I reinstalled El Capitan, and post install ran Multibeast 8.2.2 (tried saving the config I used but it got corrupted, this is from memory)
- Quick Start
- Mac Pro, 6,1 (have tried iMac 17,1 as well. For some reason I thought using a laptop smbios would give me the battery indicator...)
- RealTek ALC 889 - which is wrong, sound is not working. Need to go back and look this up for my laptop, but more concerned with video at the moment.
- FakeSMC, FakeSMC Plugins, FakeSMC HW Monitor, NullCPUPowerManagement
- I don’t think I bothered doing anything in network since I've been installing NetGear's drivers and using a USB dongle
- selected the Intel HD 530 fix.

Also installed some Synaptic kexts. Cannot remember the link I pulled them from. (please let me know if I need to attach these)

The trackpad, sound, no battery indicator and the video being stuck at 7mb is whats not working right now. I remember reading ethernet is probably not going to ever work. Only have the built in display working - no output from HDMI and mini-DP. The video is my most pressing issue, I would like to be able to code and having multiple displays with the least amount of artifacts would be the most ideal.

I am still booting with the help of the USB, have not had a chance to go back and get a refresher on how to be able to boot from EFI/Clover on harddrive. I had planned on going that route later. I am not booting with injected kexts or anything, or clearing caches. On the main clover screen I hit F4, and collected from the USB's EFI/Clover. Not sure if this works for what you are looking for.

In order to boot I am having to from the clover screen go into Graphics Injector menu and change the fakeid from 0x00000000 to 0x19120000. Otherwise I get blank screen on built-in dispay, no output on HDMI and blank screen with some text flashing too fast to read intermittently on mini-DP.

I believe I installed some kexts in /Library/Extensions with KextBeast, do you need any output from there?

Did not realize Multibeast was for desktops only. thank you Rehabman, working through the link you gave me to get a few more things working(touchpad, ethernet and was able to resolve a store verification issue). However I am still stuck on the video. I wanted to get video working before I tackled sound and battery icon.
Looking at https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...grated-graphics-working-as-of-10-11-4.188891/, I tried IntelInject true, with 19120000 or IntelInject false without injecting an id and added the patch to my config. Just confused - is this right or is this for desktops only? I also tried https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Fake-PCI-ID, but i'm not sure if I am going about this correctly. I appreciate all the help!

The guide plist has the suggested ig-platform-id.
You may also need FakePCIID.kext+FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics.kext.

Your profile is not filled out as requested in the guide (missing screen resolution).
