My Laptop won't boot any EFI Shells
I will take a look at it tomorrowDid you create the USB correctly? BOOTX64.efi must be placed at /EFI/BOOT/BOOTX64.efi. Some guides have it wrong at /BOOT/BOOTX64.efi, which won't work.
I am using 3726Have a quick poll here. What versions of Clover are you using to boot the machine?
I am still on 3320. Tried 3330 once, it won't boot. And tried 3726 today, it seems to be able to boot but it boots to a screen very dark and the brightness keys not work anymore. In the send I reverted back to 3320.
The guide always said install the latest version of Clover, which seems to be a risk now.
but windows shows 192MB
IMPORTANT!: Contrary to many of the guides you will read, Windows is NOT a valid way to determine what DVMT-prealloc is set to. There is no correlation, especially with Windows 10.
Comments:
- Your SMBIOS is being truncated. The ioreg shows MacBookAir7 instead of your intended model. Use a shorter SMBIOS.
- IGPU PM is not implemented (eg. ACPI not patched correctly with GFX0->IGPU rename)
- try to use native CPU related SSDTs instead of replacing them with Generate=true (don't drop them or patch as needed, place in ACPI/patched)
- backlight control is not implemented correctly (see guide in this forum)
- remove FixRegions
You didn't read the FAQ very carefully...
Keep in mind UHD requires the pixel clock patch (patched IOKit).
