How to Create a macOS Sierra Public Beta Installation USB

did a uefi install on a 16gig sandisk 3.0. all seemed to go well, but usb stick does not open. or even flash (led). can't see it in diskutil. or on windows computer mgmt. ???? i've tried it on 2.0 and 3.0 ports.

Update:
the thumb drive must have been faulty. I still can't get it to register on any device i plug it into.
I restarted from step #1 with a generic 8GIG 2.0 thumb drive and had no problems.
I've installed on my G5 (powermac) with Ga-z68xp-ud3 with UEFI bios and clover.
I did the install with my Gigabyte HD radeon 6850 plugged in (HDMI) with no problems either. with previous versions i've had to remove the video card for OS installation.

I've got 2 Ga-z68xp-ud3 mobos, one with UEFI and the other with the old school bios, I'm having a really tough time getting the UEFI board to run "stable", but thats problem for a different board.

Thanks to all for the hard work, research, and sharing the knowledge. :)

Great explanation. I managed to install without major problems, with everything working AUDIO, GRAPHICS and INTERNET! Thank you

I have problem with booting Sierra with full nVidia accelerations (installation successful).

I catch there is some wrong with EFI partitions because i have El Capitan with EFI and also Sierra with EFI. When i was not able to boot Sierra tried to boot El-Capitan but it was booting from wrong EFI. I disconnect my Sierra drive and everything was back to normal.

- From BIOS i choose BOOT from and select my El capitan drive and the same result.

This days i will catch what is the issue or what i'm missing and post.

Thanks for the post, works a charm.

Slight edit: Everything working apart from Siri not knowing where I am and saying I need to enable Wi-Fi. I am running over ethernet and have no Wireless card installed. Any ideas how to fix ?

I'm stuck at

"iMac.local com.apple.xpc.launchd[1] (org.ntp.sntp.134) <Warning>: Service exited with abnormal code: 1"
"busy timeout[0],2 (240s), kextd wait (0): AppleACPICPU"

I'm on clover r3716

Any suggestions/workarounds?

It wasn't easy, But i got installed on an Acer Aspire XC-704
Specs:
8GB DDR3-SODIMM RAM.
Intel HD Graphics (Intergrated)
Power supply (None, just an onboard power connector, Laptop charger cable. The cable came with the pc.)
CPU: 4x Intel Pentium N3700 CPU @ 1.60 GHz
Note: It was really hard, To the point where it took 5 days of work to fix all the booting issues.

You just cannot expect someone to help you without system ID , logs , some screens (logs are better) and other useful information.

I can't decide whether to use the "config.plist-UEFI-iMac14,2" or the "config.plist-UEFI" :/

I recommend you the iMac14,2 if you don't want problems with USB ports and iCloud compatibility.
