Yes I did... if you refer to my post #66 on page 7. I have brightness working with "graphics_PNLF_haswell.txt"
DSDT patch and "IntelBacklight.kext"

Which ig-platform-id are you using? Did you set DVMT-prealloc or are you using the minStolen patch?

Note that IntelBacklight.kext requires only "Brightness Fix".

To be honest I don't remember which ig-platform-id I'm using... I'll have to check when I get the chance (I'm at work) I'm thinking it might be 0x16260006 but I could be wrong.. I'll have to check..

No I did not set DVMT-prealloc. But should I? Is it worth the effort and risk? Does it work better this way? I'm pretty sure im using minStolen patch in clover...

For brightness I dont remeber applying any generic "brightness fix". If memory serves me right I only applied "graphics_PNLF_haswell.txt" patch into the dsdt and installed IntelBacklight.kext... But I guess IntelBacklight.kext works with the graphics_PNLF_haswell as well... so at this point I dont see a need to redo the brightness fix...

Edit: I am also losing audio upon reboot... It changes from HDA back to I2S mode in the bios... so I have to use hp bios config utility again to set it back to hda... I just remembered that I did not apply the os check fix patch to my dsdt... Can anyone confirm that thats whats causing the audio to reset back to I2S mode after a reboot? Jabote's dsdt worked better in this regard.. it wouldnt reset the audio on reboot... it would work with countless reboots...

Also "os check fix vista" referes to the standard os check fix patch in RehabMans repo? The one thats 2006? Am I right?

I would expect strange problems with minStolen patch and incorrect DVMT-prealloc.

"Brightness Fix" + IntelBacklight.kext is recommended by the backlight guide.

It works as far as I know, but I don't test that configuration. Therefore that configuration is not recommended, not supported.

You should compare DSDT.

There are different "OS Check Fix" patches for various Windows versions.

I am using the correct DVMT-prealloc, and don't have to use the minStolen patch. Graphics works fine, except for sleep. Does the same thing -- goes to sleep, but on wakeup, screen flashes, shows the desktop (grainy), and goes to black.

ACPI patched correctly? What ig-platform-id? Backlight control implemented? Power management implemented?

Yep. No errors.
igplatform-id: 0x16260006
Using Intel Backlight.kext with Brightness Fix patch
X86 Platform Plugin is loaded in IOreg

I uploaded my .aml, .dsl, and config files if that helps.

I have an i5 5200U. How do things change for me? Can I still follow this guide?

Not really different. But Yosemite not recommended for Broadwell...

Posting files as requested.

Main issue: Graphics do not work on wakeup. Goes to sleep successfully, but on wakeup, the screen blinks for a second with the desktop image, and then goes to black. During the split second of desktop, the image is grainy. It has a lot of little white dots dancing around on screen. I am forced to hard shutdown every time because the screen stays black and I'm unable to recover the graphics. Closing the lid and opening does not help.
