Mate my usb3 ports are not disabled i just upgraded yosmite to el capitan and they no longer work

I was referring to how it appears in ioreg. Have you read this thread?

It is 15 *per controller*. With an XHC and EHC controller (many USB2 ports on XHC routed to EHC with FakePCIID_XHCIMux), you have a potential of 45 USB ports (15 on XHC, 15 on EHC1, 15 on EHC2).

Same kext, multiple personalities to inject the properties under the appropriate node for each controller...

You create a second (and maybe third) entry under IOKitPersonalities that matches the EHC1/EHC2 (and any hubs, if needed). See example: https://github.com/RehabMan/Lenovo-U430-Touch-DSDT-Patch

Work on one thing at a time (you asked so I provided the answer...). First step is to eliminate unused ports from the XHC injector. Should be trivial ... it is is just deleting content you already have.

Once again following along here, would unused ports in the injector include the HSxx ports as they are all routed to the EHC controllers?
