Just installed 10.10.3 with Clover, managed to get everything working on iMac 15,1 Retina 5K (using Clover Configurator) although I have to use nv_disable=1 to boot, otherwise I see the apple boot logo and then after that it says no signal.Do I need to install the correct graphics drivers? I'm using FakeSMC.kext and AppleIntelE1000e.kext in my EFI partition. Any advice would be great, thanks!

Do you have the latest web graphics installed?

The problem is the iMac15,1 definition. See here for a fix: http://www.tonymacx86.com/graphics/...-after-nvidia-346-01-02f01-2.html#post1018420

For you that can't see the plist file in the kext, it's because the file is hidden.

Open terminal and copy and paste the following and hit Enter:
Code:
defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles -boolean true ; killall Finder

Now all hidden files of the system should be visible. and the plist file should also be visible.

I assume this would also work for the iMac 15,1 by changing:

<key>Mac-42FD25EABCABB274</key>
<string>Config2</string>

to

<key>Mac-42FD25EABCABB274</key>
<string>none</string>

I have GTX780 and even with stock OSX driver going to iMac15,1 resulted of black screen. iMac14,2 and macpro3,1 were OK. I changed the valu in the kext from Config2 to none and iMac15,1 is working. ( I use Chimera and MultiBeast.

It will be great if someone can explain what this kext does and to what Config2 is referring etc...

Thanks!

I am not sure what the kext does exactly but glad the fix worked. PikeRAlpha had mentioned it as a fix for issues with 10.9.3 and a black screen.

On another note, when I was using the 15,1 profile, after a cold boot my user picture at the login screen would not show up. If I was just doing a reboot it worked fine though. Have you experienced that?

Just tested the cold boot( Shutdown->PSU off -> Power cable unplug) and all looks good.

I'm using the latest web driver, though (346.01.02f02). Using the web driver increased my cinebench r15 from 93 to 104 fps compared to the stock driver.

Slim I have an acer 21:9 29" coming from a standard 24" I like it. Its a tad smaller vertically but you can't beat it width wise. Great for design or web design and definitely a plus if your a gamer. You get all that extra real estate to see whats going on.. and for movies excellent. I never had a 2 monitor setup but that would be another option.

Thanks, I ended up buying a Dell U2415. It is professionally color calibrated and the 1920x1200 is great compared to my 22" 1920x1080 monitor.

Hi,
Got a question. I have a Mac Pro 6,1 profile on this X99 Setup and obviously the Web Driver complains about "Computer not supported" so I tweaked the distribution to get that working.

The PNY 970GTX has 3 mini displayports, and 1 DVI and what looks like a mini-HDMI. Only ports that work are 1 mini displayport and the DVI. Is there any way to get the unrecognized ports working or is it a side effect of using a MacPro6,1 SMBios? Or just the nature of this being in beta?
