Audio is installed correctly.
No codec, verify BIOS/Peripherals/Audio Controller/Enabled
As long as no codec shows in DPCIManger, no audio.

Ok Newb here. Does this writeup apply at all for alc269? None of it seems to apply for that and i cannot get mine working.

Hi,

I am really new to the Hakintosh scene and I am pretty overwhelmed with the audio on the machine. Everything else works minus the audio. Im sorry in advanced if I missed something super stupid so here goes.

1. Audio does not work. I went to System Preferences>Sound>Select Device and there is nothing there. If I am connected to WiFi it is picking up my AppleTV as AirPlay that is all.
2. OSX 10.10.1/ Gigabyte GA-x79-UP4/ UEFI DualBIOS (Version: F2)/ i7 3820/ Nvidia GeForce GTX 560Ti
3. Used this guide. Found no HDEF then used “Add_HDEF-kext.pdf” to add it. Used ALC892 from MultiBeast.
4. Refer to Andrei’s Mac Pro.ioreg
5. Refer to AppleHDA.ktext
6. N/A
7. Refer to system.log
8. Refer to attachments

The thread only supports ALC269 for BRIX.

Two audio injection methods installed:
1. Extra/Modules/HDAEnabler.dylib
2. S/L/E/HDAEnabler1.kext

Remove one method, restart, verify audio
Remove other method, restart, verify audio
Reply with IOReg form each experiment.

Thank you for your reply.

Here is what I have done.

1. Back up Extra/Modules/HDAEnabler.dylib and S/L/E/HDAEnabler1.kext on the desktop
2. Deleted one of the 2 files above.
3. Rebooted, and Checked Audio using Settings>Audio
4. Made the ioreg file.
5. Repeat for the second file.

So far sound is still not working for it cannot pick up anything.
