Greetings,
I just put together an Apple branded bluetooth module. I used A1114 module and connected it to UBS header on the motherboard. Bought one of those 5v to 3.3v converters. Basically i followed the guides that are available online.
Problem is that when i start the machine and get into the OS the system doesn't seem to see any bluetooth device under bluetooth tab in system profile.
I can confirm that the module is getting the 3.3v (checked with multimeter)
The usb header is working for sure, i connected an usb hub to it and it worked no problem.
I dual booth Windows 7 and it does see that there is some kind of device connected, but unfortunately doesn't install any drivers and atm the device is marked as "unknown device".
I am using Gigabyte Z68X-UD4 mobo and the latest DSDT.
If Windows didn't react to the module I would've been sure that the module was DOA, but since thats not the case i am really at lost why Lions system profile doesn't show any bluetooth device.
Anyone else had similar experience or has any tips?
Thanks in advance.
