Yosemite random freeze/crash after hardware upgrade

Hi guys really stuck. I got my hackintosh up and running a few days ago and everything was running smooth as can be. Today I made some hardware changes:

GTX 970 --> GTX TITAN X
550W PSU --> 650W PSU

and added 3 more system fans (only had 1 initially)

since the upgrade my hackintosh freezes up after around 5-10 mins and I have to restart it again.

does anyone have any idea what I can do to fix this?

At the same time my pc started freezing my internet died - internet is now working again and I've left the pc up and running for the past hour and it has been fine so far. I'm really confused about this.

OK so been up and running for the past 4 hours now and all seems OK. I think it could possibly be to do with my internet dropping or could have been a power surge which also affected my internet.

Lost internet again today and as soon as that happened my mackintosh froze - so the cause is when the internet drops out OS X crashes

Ohh! I was trying to figure out why my Hackintosh was freezing and saw this post. As soon as I unplugged my USB WiFi Dongle, my computer froze as well!

My hardware is:
CPU: i7-4790k
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H97-D3H
GPU: Sapphire HD 7870 2GB Ghz Edition Flex Edition

I installed with the onboard graphics, but then ended up plugging in my GPU.

Very similar to yours. Are you using the Edimax USB Dongle? It's so weird.. I don't have this problem on my Macbook Pro. Anyways, please tell me if you get this sorted out. I'm going to try to update BIOS and then reinstall OS X later and see if that fixes anything. Anyways, tell me if you're able to figure this out!

Hey. Mines been sweet as since to be honest. But if the internet is disconnected it crashes the computer - I haven't found any fix for it just yet - just hope my internet stays alive whilst in use. In terms of the internet dropping I'm using a hardwired ethernet connection.
