where can i find a similar card with the same chipset? is it atheros AR58HB92 ?

i live in europe and the ebay seller is in the states!

i find some similar products, i read it's an intel centrino n-2230 card, can you tell me please if one of these is ok ?

I doubt that the Centrino chips will work, where did you find info that it should work? The included Centrino card on the Gigabyte Z77N and H77N motherboards don't work.
 
But 150 is plenty, eh? my internet connection is 18mbs. Is this apples to apples (so to speak)?

Yes, sort of at least. 150 Mbps is the theoretical limit. In real life you probably won't push past 50 Mbps or so. But if you don't need the speed internally (like for a NAS or other computers), 150 Mbps is fine.

Yes, that works. At least with an extra kext. It does give you Bluetooth, but only half the wifi speed (150 Mbps vs. 300 Mbps).



Hi you mentioned that this card will do both wifi and BT with an additional kext.

Is that something that can be installed during the initial setup with multi beast, or would I d/l it from somewhere afterwards and then use a program like kextdrop to install it?
