My Gigabyte (see signature) is 99,9%. Only thing not working is auto-sleep. Normal sleep (button, schedule, keyboard), sound, wifi, nic, hd3000 internal GPU, HD 6870 external GPU, Airplay Mirroring, Appstore, FaceTime and everything else is working fine. One thing more, when overclocked to more then stock 34x, sleep fails in 10.8 (worked in Lion).

This should be posted on Post-Installation.

Well, you said "overclocked to more than stock 34x". Then what's your multiplier now?

I set it back to 34x, just upped to 40x to get my Geekbench rating.

My system works 99.99% basically everything i could think of except for GPU fakeSMC (i ve got an 670 pny 2gb) and while i had no problem before to put uefi bios now if i install that plugin it gives me KP at boot, anyway not a big loss ... i never used it that much and i know the card works good as until 10.7.4 the temperature were under control and also on firmware f12 i had no problems.. so:
Sleep works good even the schedule sleep just tried auto and it does nt work :( maybe is some setting in the bios u got to change.. i have to replug the usb everytime i wake for that purpose i ve got an usb extender cable that i putted on the desk just right below the monitor so it s handy..
to get p states and OC i used a dsdt that i m gonna post and a SSDT, then i went to the bios and i changed the multiplier to 42 and changed the cores to this values:
1-42
2-42
3-42
4-41
the dsdt is for the uefi BIOS!!! even tho we dont need one i wanted to have the patched APPLEHDA so i used it and it s always good in case you wanna have AUDIO trough hdmi if one day i ll dare to try to activate that.. well besides that good luck everybody and remember buy the OSX its so good and cheap that would be a shame to pirate it..

Most root device errors point to ATA setting in Bios. Make sure your ATA is set tot AHCI and not to IDE. Also, use SATA drives. If using USB, set to USB2 and not USB3.

I have the same board and sleep/wake does not work for me. Screen goes dark but computer doesn't turn off and the monitor doesn't come back on if I click the mouse.
Neither manual or auto sleep works.

I'm going to try making a DSDT for the HDMI audio and see if I can get the sleep issue fixed too.
I am using UEFI uh1 BIOS

I have an almost identical machine, how were you able to get Airplay mirroring working?
