Graphics Card

I'm hoping to build a hackintosh with Snow Leopard on a Z68XP-UD3 and i7 2600k. I am very new to graphics card and its different variants. I checked on the compatible graphics cards at the tonymacx86 wiki but most are older models which are no longer available here in Singapore. Could I ask for some suggestions on graphics cards that are more recent and are fully compatible with Snow Leopard?

Do you prefer nVidia or ATI/AMD for graphics?
Have you looked at the graphics card WiKi? It list many cards that are compatible.

Thanks again Going Bald. I really don't have a preference. This is my first time trying to choose graphics card and i really have no idea what the difference is among the many variants. Either nVidia or ATI/AMD is alright I guess. I'll look more into the forums as to which works OOB with Snow Leopard. In the meantime if you can direct me to a silent/fanless GPU that works very well with SL, I'd appreciate it.

ASUS, Gigabyte and Zotac all made a Geforce 210 silent low profile capable gfx card that will work in SL. Gigabyte also made a 9800GT that was fanless that would work.

On the ATI side, Gigabyte made a 5750 that was fanless, but the heat-pipe/fins took up a large amount of space. Also, you would need to be running 10.6.7 to have driver support for it.

Your problem will be finding one that is still being made and sold. I would suggest a google search for fanless graphics cards and see what you can come up with.
