Audio not working with Rampage IV Extreme

Hey,

I'm using the following DSDT http://www.tonymacx86.com/dsdt/63708-asus-rampage-iv-extreme-dsdt-bios-2105-a.html and I'm failing to get the audio working.

(using OSX 10.8, mountain lion)

The Intel High Definition Audio with an audio id of 898 shows up in the System Info. If I use the AL898 kext in Multibeast then the outputs show up in the Sound settings and it detects when I plug in stuff to the jacks but I don't get any actual sound. VoodooHDA fails completely (no outputs show up in Sound) and throws millions of errors along with garbled information in its system preferences panel.

Anyone got any suggestions?

X79 audio is not supported in OS X currently. Try this Interim Realtek Ivy Bridge Lion AppleHDA. Attach a copy of IOReg. [Guide] How to Make a Copy of IOReg.

Thanks, that ivy bridge AppleHDA seems to work fine.

ALC898 audio with Interim AppleHDA.kext, use one or the other, not both:
1. HDAEnabler898.kext (Available MultiBeast 4.6.1)
2. dsdt/HDEF/layout-id/0x82, 0x03, 0x00, 0x00
