The "only" thing that is missing in my Yosemite build is the audio.

I tried to use Multibeast with all (4) ALC888S drivers options, legacy and current, but no devices are identified.

So I started trying to install VooDooHDA, then I got different results:

v0.2.1: no devices;
v0.2.2: 4 digital devices, none works;
v0.2.56: audio works but after reboot I got kernel panic;
v0.2.61: audio works I still didn't try to reboot (using right now);
v2.7.2: couldn't install extension;
v2.7.3: no devices and panic after reboot;
v2.8.2: couldn't install extension;
v2.8.4: no devices or 4 digital devices (can't remember);

Any tips?

Thanks.

For HDEF/AppleHDA, 2 steps:
1. Add dsdt/HDEF, see Post #1, I. No Output Devices Found, 2 HDEF Verification,
No Audio Devices - Realtek ALC AppleHDA, restart
2. MultiBeast 7 - Select: Drivers > Audio > Realtek ALCxxx > √ ALC887 Legacy, restart

After updating to 10.10.1 I lost audio and tried the same method to get it to work again, but it's not working anymore. Please help me to get it to work again.

After using Multibeast 7 and 887 legacy driver:

Used Multibeast 6, one of the drivers, 888 I think, probably any would work, and turned the computer OFF and ON again (like it crowd would say) and it worked. :banghead:

Audio is back.
