10.10.2 Update - X99 - Clover

Easy update:
Download Yosemite 10.10.2 update here.
If you're running a GTX 970/980, download Nvidia drivers here.
If you're using Clover (r3131 or higher) to patch the kernel you're ready to go...

Launch the update, on the reboot use flag "nv_disable=1" to get to the desktop. Run the Nvidia update, reboot and you're done... Luck with it!

Will give it a try this weekend - still trying to install native 10.10.1 with Clover 3136 I made with Clover Grower and not having success - hangs at DSMOS has arrived.
 
I can't even get that far.

Since the update I've gotten this error and I haven't been able to figure out how to fix it.

Any ideas? Given that I can only use Win8.1 now that I can't boot OSX (won't boot off the USB either for some reason).

Have you been able to download 10.10.2 full version? I can't get it to download on my MBP or my hacks, just an ongoing spinning wheel. :rolleyes:

I did a clean install of 10.6.0 and updated to 10.6.8 on the -UD7. 10.10.2 downloaded at 2.3M/s peak speed while I was watching the download dropdown - that is fast for the OS X server - usually it is down around 1.2M/s or slower.

Thanks, that rang the bell. I had a Asus Z87 box sitting in the corner so I did a fresh install of 10.10.0 on it and then was able to DL the full 10.10.2... Built a Clover r3156 generic installer and one for the Gigabyte X99 and they work fine as expected...
 
I had the same problem, until I removed 10.10 Install from my Applications folder.
Seems it knows! :crazy:
