So I found out recently that Unitek has released a brand new USB3.2 Gen2 M.2 & SATA III compatible cloning dock.

If anyone wants to do any sort of cloning of drives between NVMe/SSDs, back up before installation, use faster external drives or make perfect clones of their Big Sur and Monterey system drives (which cannot be done in software now that Apple has tightened user drive access in macOS) I think this would be a great tool.
