Yes, I have full range volume in Windows 8.1 as well as Yosemite.

I was able to to sleep my rig in OS X but upon wake the volume was low. Shutting down and starting back up fixed the issue. As for your native HDA I found a tutorial some time back on how to restore the stock HDA, it involves having the Yosemite Installer from the app store and pulling the files from within the installer and restoring them to there location on OS X.
Here's a link to pacifist http://www.charlessoft.com/ which is what the restore method from Toleda uses. I believe you get a free trial with Pacifist.
Here's the link to the restore guide https://github.com/toleda/audio_ALC_guides/blob/master/Restore native AppleHDA [Guide].pdf
After you restore the native AppleHDA run the Toleda script https://github.com/toleda/audio_CloverALC if using clover. Should work after that.
I actually fixed it by reinstalling Yosemite over my current install. I also set my machine to never sleep so the volume issue shouldn't pop up.
