stork have you installed the 10.7.4 update yet

Re: Stork's Sandy Bridge Z68X-UD3H - i7-2600K - HD3000 - Lion

No. I'm awaiting for the dust to settle. Seems we are still working on the curve ball Apple through us with SB K processors in 10.7.4. See MacMan's thread on the subject.

But, I didn't update both my P55M systems to 10.7.4 w/o any issues. My Batman system is running an i7-875K with a 32bit Geekbench score of 10,730. My HacHTPC updated surprising well, given that uses a special AppleHDA which was not replaced in the 10.7.4 Combo Update. Some days your the bug, and some days your the windshield. Today was a Windshield Day.

c8169,
There are posts on the forum on using the Magic Mouse and TrackPad in Windows. You'll have to pull out a driver from the BootCamp pkg, but it's easy to do. I don't use Windoze unless I'm forced to do so. Consequently, when I use Windoze, I use an old Logitech USB optical mouse.

Logitech is very good about keeping it's Logitech Control Center and other supporting software for the OS X up to date. The software is available for d/l'ing from Logitech's web site in the Support section. The Solar keyboard works in both OS X and Windoze.

I can not make 10.7.4 work on my system...

Same settings as for 10.7.3...

Lion 10.7.4 from App Store.

Am I missing something that is out there?

Any thoughts?

Re: Stork's Sandy Bridge Z68X-UD3H - i7-2600K - HD3000 - Lion

I have not updated to 10.7.4 because of the problem with SB i5/i7 processors operating at half speed. I will not update until tonymacx86 and MacMan find a solution to the problem. See tonymacx86's and MacMan's blogs for announcements on the fixes.

In the meantime, post your 10.7.4 installation problem(s) in the 10.7 Support forum section. viewforum.php?f=169

Re: Stork's Sandy Bridge Z68X-UD3H - i7-2600K - HD3000 - Lion

i previously had been using a logitech keyboard and lately installed an apple wired keyboard but some of the keys are different (it seems like the keys are for a pc not the apple keys) ones that are marks with symbols are something different can i fix that or is that just that way.

Re: Stork's Sandy Bridge Z68X-UD3H - i7-2600K - HD3000 - Lion

Sometimes, I have to use my Apple USB keyboard, and, when I do, I leave my Logitech connected (and turned on). I have not had that problem as the Apple KB is uniquely recognized by OS X. Some else is wrong. Try disconnecting the Logitech keyboard. If you've done this, uninstall the Logitech Control Center (or other Logitech s/w.) Good Luck!

Getting weird results with my memory. Anybody else using the Corsair Vengeance LP seeing this? Seems like is isn't picking up the correct info on the first module, all it says is RAM and doesn't show the Manufacturer or Part number.

dm5253,
My memory is reporting correctly. What does it say in the BIOS? Could be it's a reporting issue in OS X.
