I keep things simple for myself - staying on 10.10.1
Got a clone of a boot drive on external USB HDD - experimenting with system updates & new drivers there without touching main.
As soon workable combination found - i'll post it here

You're a lucky with your 10.10.1 boot drive! I'm now at a point that I would kill somebody for it

Any other wizzkid who knows a working solution? I would be so grateful for that.

That's the whole issue..

So, you're stuck at 30hz too.

I'm thinking it only comes up in 6.1 mac pro or 15. imacs

Why does Maxwell support need to be added? 4K @ 60Hz works fine for Kepler as well in 10.10.1. Bummer I can't upgrade past however.

I can confirm that the latest web drivers with the additional 10.10.3 didn't fix any of the 4k issues.

I'm thinking about switching to AMD graphics which supports 4k 60hz natively...

Can we expect this to be fixed anyway?
