That Realtek chip tends to crash if you are using the wrong driver. The official Realtek driver KPs when the chip doesn't respond. Going into BIOS and running SMART LAN also resets it, no need to power down the PC completely.

The Lnx2Mac driver has been working great so far.

RAM is funny everytime I've done a sucessfuly I've had all of my 6GB installed.
