I have the CustoMac Mini, GA-H61N-USB3 and USB 3 now works on 10.8.2. It didn't show up before this update.

Thanks for reporting this! this is good to know, as I have the same board, and USB3 was one of the last things I was concerned about working. Now I just have to get a good backup solution going, then I'll make the jump from 10.7.5 to 10.8.2.

Where can we buy the Fresco Logic FL1100 controller?

Not entirely sure, Amazon has a FL1009 card on sale for $20 http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00570PQAC/ but that's as much as I can help. I'm not based in the US and as such found a local brand FL1100 card.

Is there any chance that this will improve support for older x58 boards for USB3?
