Are we suppose to set Sata to AHCI and HPET to 64 bit if we use Linux to extract DSDT or do we just need to set bios to optimal defaults?

Technically, yes. However, many of us have been using it after flashing to F3 and it appears to work fine. If you're so inclined, it would be good to compare the changes from each to implement the best from each (assuming there are differences).

Changed BIOS settings as described in original post
No edits made

BIOS Version E7680IMS V10.5 (latest as of 5/2/11)
2x4GB Ram Configuration
No SATA devices attached (boot from USB)
No Video card device inserted

Bios settings changes as described except there is no selection for HPET 64 bit mode, however there is "enable" and that was selected.

I try to extract the dsdt...

So ...

Because, im not succes with linux, i use dsdt autopatcher, from insanelymac...

I hope, it's ok...
