Re: DSDT Database: Gigabyte Socket 1155 Submission Thread

This is the 2nd BIOS release for this board.

Extracted using DSDTSE in Windows. Ofcourse unmodified.

Looking forward to MacMan's minimal edits. His version for my H55 board works flawlessly!

[EDIT]
For what it's worth, I have applied a number of edits to produce what I think should be a usable DSDT as follows:

This includes:
1. patches as per elconiglio's scripts on http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/lofive ... 23205.html
WAK, DGTP, shutdown gigabyte, RTC, HPET, HDEF, ALC889, GIGE, Mac devices rename

2. patches as per MacMan's minimal edits for Gigabyte 1156 boards:
Device (BUS0), Device (TIMR), Device (PWRB), rename PX40, PX43

The result (dsl and aml) is herewith attached ("GA-H67N-USB3-B3-F3-patched") and contains no errors, only the following warnings/remarks:
1087 warning "result is not used, operator has no effect"
3113 remark "effective AML package length is zero"
6 x remark "use of compiler reserved name (_T_x)"
Not sure how to fix these but they aren't show stoppers I think?

What is still missing is the injection of a suitable AppleLPC device ID.

I currently have this board on Windows with a i3-2100 but have no time to try install SL at least for another few weeks. If anyone wants to to give this a try please post back your results.

Re: DSDT Database: Gigabyte Socket 1155 Submission Thread

Gigabyte GA P67A-UD5-B3

F3 BIOS

i7-2600K

So it needs to be edited before I can use it?

How do I know when its been edited?

Will we just see in the the DSDT DB? (now says coming soon!)

Will this edited DSDT be better that the one defined in the dsdt autopatcher? Will we perhaps be able to un at a higher multiplier than 32x?

They only way so far I can get a try 64bit kernal is using the dsdt autopatcher but have terrible network performance and cannot get higher than 32x multiplier nor can i overclock realiable. Turbo overclock works for a while then fails to boot (as if I have the multiplier at 34x). Then have to disable turbo. Without turbo and at 32x its very realiable.

Thanks again for all your help. Looking forward to testing an edited dsdt for a P67A-UD5-B3

Re: DSDT Database: Gigabyte Socket 1155 Submission Thread

This file is from the Gigabyte GA-H67MA-D2H-B3 rev 1.1 board with the latest F4 bios (my set-up was woefully likely to reboot and reset config with the F2 release bios.

I cannot get my set-up to boot with multiplier set higher than 29 (If you can I'd be delighted if you told me how!) and I don't yet implement a DSDT. I'm also interested in anyone with working SpeedStep on an i5 (mine is 2500)

Props to the forum - Great work I think!
