Mountain Lion: MultiBeat - No Audio/Solutions and Problem Reporting

Right with them Edits Internal Mic seems to be working in the Pink Jack as when i plug in my headphones the Lines move.

So with the clean AppleHDA.kext you've said to use we now have no sound from Speakers, GreenJack (Headphones) as these are not showing at all. I just have Line Out, Line Out and Digital Out in Sound Prefs I have Int Mic and Line In on input prefs.

So we are heading the right way for mic as well. So its a Hit and Miss will decode the ConfigData now using that scripts and then using that compare and alter the verb with the ones from my verb.

EDIT: Gave it another base no outputs or inputs, think its time to scrap the idea something i am doing is screwing everything up. Not sure what it is. I did a Verb analyse on your codec and it shows 42 verbs mine then shows 32 so oh well.

EDIT2: Glutan for punishment me, giving it another bash but using my noggin.

I used the Full 001 and 012 then ran my script as Sound in Windows works with Auto Switching without issues and sound just works.
So i ran my script on the verb above and to my shock i have had a Fixed Analysed Verb readout that didn't have loads of bad node all over it

Not only that its also picked up the Internal HDMI and the Digital Other Out (Green Jack is also Digital). Does this look a better one to play with. Also i have found out that the grey port is also black via auto switch .

So do you reckon using the Full Windows Verb thats analysed be the best one to work with as it seems the Linux Dumps are not working so well and the Last Windows try did give me sound before i lost it again.

Edit: Right now going to test this theory, i have removed all Nodes that produced a bad verb and all the nodes as well with not connection leaving me with.

Code:
01171CF001171D1101171E1101271C4001271D0901271EA301471C1F01471D4401471E2101571CF001571D1101571E1101671CF001671D1101671E1101771C1401771D2001771E0101871C3001871D9801871EA101971CF001971D1101971E1101A71C3F01A71D3001A71E8101B71C1001B71D0101B71E1301C71CF001C71D1101C71E1101D71CF001D71D0101D71E8301E71C2001E71D4101E71E4501F71CF001F71D1101F71E1100571C1000571D0000571E5600671C1000671D0000671E5600771C1000771D0000771E56

I think it is best to get back to what got the speaker and headphone working. I thought I captured the pinconfigs that were working. It is not clear what changes you made. Analyzing Windows verbs is giving the wrong answers, I see 01471D44 in the configuration, again, which does not work.

To make this easier to manage, focus on the following:
1. Outputs (a + b if paired in one audio device or a + c if two audio devices)
a. INT SPKR/pathmap 27-12-2/pin config 01b71c70 01b71d00 01b71e13 01b71f90
b. HP/pathmap 20-12-2/pinconfig 01471c10 01471d40 01471e21 01471f01
c. alt
HP/pathmap 20-38-37/pinconfig 01471c10 01471d40 01471e21 01471f01

2. Inputs (a + b if paired in one audio device or a + c if two audio devices)
a. INT MIC/9-34-18/pinconfig 01271c40 01271d90 01271ea1 01271f90
b. LINE IN/pathmap 9-34-25/pinconfig 01a71c60 01a71d30 01a71e81 01a71f01
c. alt LINE IN/pathmap 8-35-25/pinconfig 01a71c60 01a71d30 01a71e81 01a71f01

For Platforms.xml/pathmap 892, delete the other items
For Info.plist/CodecID: 283904146, LayoutID:1/
a. add 01271c40 01271d90 01271ea1 01271f90
b. edit 21a71c60 21a71d30 21a71e81 21a71f01 to 01a71c60 01a71d30 01a71e81 01a71f01
c. delete all 215..., 216..., 217..., 218..., 219..., 21b..., 21cc..., 21dc..., 21ec... and 21fc...

The result is 4/2 pathmaps and 4 pinconfigs.

Right thanks for that once i get back into Mac OSX i will give that a shot, so far i have been very close in smashing my laptop up.

As you can see i am one complete noob learning the ways but getting frustrated at the same time. Thanks for bearing with me. I should of backed up the AppleHDA.kext when i got the headset and speakers working (What i idiot i didn't do that).

Thanks for your help.

Will use another clean AppleHDA.kext.

EDIT: Numbnuts again can you please clear up section 1 and 2 also For Platforms.xml/pathmap 892, delete the other items bits please other part i.e info.plist is now done

EDIT2: Done what i think you meant and out come is no audio no auto switching.

Sound prefs is now showing on output:-

Line Out
Internal Speakers
Internal Speakers
Digital Out

Input is showing:-
Line In

I am a total failure at pin maps. But Line In is working. Microphone is Missing and also the Output is still not working.

I am a total failure at pin maps. But Line In is working. Microphone is Missing and also the Output is still not working.
For the mic, you have to add or edit a path map. For the outputs, line out and digital out pathmaps should have been deleted. Attach your current Platforms.xml and Info.plist.

No outputs or input mate. I am scratching my head on this one.

Will get one to you ASAP. Just had a idea and working on that (Another Mess about) Will re-add your edits and get you a IOReg as soon as one can. Thanks for your help.

EDIT: I had a brain mash. Went for a look see for other AppleHDA's idea being find out which work on what port get the codec and layout etc and then go through them one by one till everything works sounds logical.

Now i spotted a 892 with layout 32 now even though no sound comes out External Microphone and Line In works, It was set for address 2 but as my linux codec was address 0 is swapped 21 to 01 (i am learning) this gave me the Inputs that kinda work.

Now Headphones and Speakers was auto switching in Address 2 format but no will not its the same codec verb but again changed from 21 to 01. Then i saw a sag file for 892 and now compared it. Now i think this is where everything started working in my head, Most of the ports are the same, part are missing in one but added in another.

Could you have a look at the two for me png is a downloaded graph and the .svg is mine. This might be were we can find something that will work.

The 892.png is standard desktop configuration. It is very close to the 892 Optimized AppleHDA.kext. For your MSI laptop, HP (0x14, normally 0x1b) and Speakers 0x14, normally 0x1b) are reversed, Line In (0x1a) is the same and Mic (0x12, normally 0x18) is special.
