One more question though. Is there any way to keep the bios settings as discrete graphics? I have my system dual booting, so it would be good to use the power of my graphics cards when I can!

You could try discrete graphics, but it may not boot. If it boots, I don't think it would make a difference for OS X. I've been using HD 4000, because I want to get graphics acceleration working and there's no way to do that for the k1000/k2000 cards on OS X.

Thank you very much for everything!! This weekend I will try everything you said and I'll let you know!
Once again thanks for your time! :thumbup:

I changed the two things on BIOS but when i get the white screen with the apple logo, then it turns into black and nothing happens..

At the chimera boot screen, before you press enter to select the usb type
Code:
GraphicsEnabler=No
otherwise, the bootloader will use the wrong graphics settings and try to display on a different screen (that may or may not exist). Enter that boot flag to install and then on the first boot. After you change the string in your org.chameleon.boot.plist this will be the default action and you won't need to enter it again.

Sometimes you might run into problems even with the graphicsEnabler=No setting, usually a -f flag also helps with that, though Im not sure why

Have you guys by any chance had trouble with USB? I find that my computer locks up any time I insert a USB device

Do you have USB 3.0 enabled in BIOS? USB 3.0 seems to have problems in OS X.

I've noticed that if USB 3 is enabled and I plug a device into my a blue (3.0) port, it isn't recognized. If I plug something into the black (2.0) port it works and then the 3.0 work to. I haven't had any lockups related to it though so maybe its a Mountain Lion thing.

I think mulitbeast has something for 3.0 support, but I haven't checked to see if it would work for the W530.

I have USB 3.0 off in BIOS,
I did not use USB 3.0 in Multibeast,
When I insert a USB it recognizes it so far.

I don't want to mess with the settings and lose everything again :p

I found a way here to fix HD 4000 graphics but i am not sure if it'll work or not. Haven't tried it!!

I use Carbon Copy Cloner (an older free version) to copy my Mac HD to a secondary partition. Then I test new things on that partition and just delete it if anything goes wrong.

I've tried that and haven't gotten it to work on Lion (details here). Maybe it will work in Mountain Lion. If you want to try, copy your 'org.chameleon.boot.plist' and name it 'org.chameleon.boot.plist.old'. Then add the following to the original:
Code:
[COLOR=#000000]<key>device-properties</key>
[/COLOR][COLOR=#000000]<string>7f0000000100000001000000730000000200000002010c00d041030a000000000101060000027fff04002c0000004100410050004c002c00690067002d0070006c006100740066006f0072006d002d006900640000000800000003006601140000006800640061002d0067006600780000000d0000006f6e626f6172642d31</string>[/COLOR]
.
