Kernel panic at deadbeef

Hi all, when trying to install Mavericks I am getting this error
Kernel panic at 0xdeadbeefdeadbeef
here is the error:

I am using a 4770k, GA-Z87-UD3H and Corsair Vengeance 4GB, with a Samsung 840 EVO SSD

You can try these, not guaranteed to work but often do :

1. Add the '-f' flag to your bootflags.

2. Add 'maxmem=4096' as an additional boot flag.

3. Add both of the above together.
 
Would help if we could see what it said before the debugger gets called (the message right before the screen you posted).
 
I have tried the maxmem=4096 and -f flags, didn't help
here is the screen right before the last screen:

Have you tried -x, -f and -v altogether? Try those flags and I'll try to find some new ones to help you.
yes just tried -x -v- -f
still the same error

also don't know if this matters I still got a GeForce GTX 280 card for video

Its an issue with your RAM, which has appeared since 10.9.2, the issue only appears to arise while installing OS X.

Try the following options:

  • In the UEFI/BIOS remove profile 1 as a memory option and run with standard settings.
  • Beg, borrow or buy a different DDR3 1333MHz stick of RAM from a different manufacturer to solve the immediate issue.
